Yes, of course. I make the base or plinth using Incendia's cube shape or sometimes the plain cylinder. I make it as a separate image because that makes it easier to position the sculpture on the base and adjust its size. I use layers in Paintshop Pro to get everything in the right position and adjust the size, brightness and contrast of each item - i.e. the background scene layer, the sculpture layer and the base layer. I have yet try putting two or more sculptures in the same scene!
